My name is blank. There's not really anything special about me. I'm your normal Japanese high-schooler you could find anywhere. I watch anime, read light novels, play video games, the normal things any high-schooler does. If there's one thing about me that's different, I guess it's that I like puzzlehunts more than the average person.

That's why, when I saw the truck barreling towards that kid, I was more surprised than anyone to find myself running up and pushing them out of the way. Ah, I guess I won't be able to participate in the next Mystery Hunt... That was the last thought that passed through my mind before everything went black.

I wake up, and realize I'm not on the street from before. I'm not in a hospital bed. I'm not even resting with my head on the lap of a beautiful cryptic crossword. No, I'm in the middle of a grassy field, with very oddly-shaped mountains and trees.

What's this? Is this that thing that happens to protagonists in light novels when they save the kid from a truck? Have I been... sent to another world?

Hoping against hope, I say out loud "Status", and sure enough, a display pops up in front of me, showing things like my name, my level, and my skills.

Well, I said skills, but there's only one. What's this?

What?! Isn't this skill perfect for me? As I look over this skill, I realize I can feel some puzzles, in a village I can see off in the distance.

I immediately understand my purpose here. I must have been reincarnated in order to save this world from its Demon Lord, or something like that. Well in that case, I'll need to strengthen myself. I start off towards the village I spotted, both to level up and to find out about this new world.

Plans and schematics flood my brain, and before I realize it, I know exactly how to rearrange the materials at hand to account for the missing obsidian. In short order, I have a working nether portal made out of the remaining blocks. It's got a weird shape, but I step in, eager to see what awaits me on the other side.

I throw out a series of OHKO moves, each with only a 30% chance of landing, and they all connect, finishing the fight in my favor. The Champion is incredulous, but a win's a win, and they allow me to take the eyes of ender I need to power an end portal. The end of my journey is in sight. Heh, no pun intended.

That's perfect! Since everything is made of blocks here, that's sure to work! I use A BLOCKBUSTER HIT on the Ender Dragon and... oh. OH. Like a trustbuster. The hundreds of tiny dragons scatter, each now incapable of terrorizing anything bigger than an endermite.

It's a plan that makes so much sense, I'm not sure why no one's tried it before. If a Truck-kun brought me here, surely a Truck-kun can get me back, right? As luck would have it, I'm able to locate my chariot home close by. I begin to push, and suddenly realize I have no idea how just pushing is going to get me to another world. I'm chagrined and stop pushing, but recognize a familiar ball back where this Truck-kun originally was. Curious, I pick it up and toss it.
